To help you understand Funeral Costs we have prepared an outline of the categories that make up a funeral account. There are basically three sections that make up the total funeral account: 1)  Professional Service Charges, 2)  Merchandise Selections and 3)  Cash Advances.

To aid consumers, legislation provides that all funeral homes must provide an itemized price list of all of their related Professional Service Charges as well as casket and merchandise charges. This list must be available at consumers' request without cost or obligation. 

We pride ourselves on always being one of the most reasonably priced funeral homes in the area, although many expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities and ethical standards. Consumers and families finally can learn first hand that there is a difference and families need not fall into the trap of traditional loyalty many funeral homes attempt to count on. This section is specific to the services of the funeral director and staff, the use of the funeral home's facilities, and any transportation charges. Since every family is unique, all of our charges are itemized allowing the family flexibility to pick and choose which services will best honor their loved one. 

Typical professional service charges might include:

• Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

• Use of the Funeral Home and Staff for a Gathering, Visitation or Service
  
• Transportation from the place of death
  
• Use of Hearse

• Use of Hospitality Center for Gathering after Services
  

This section applies to any merchandise the family may select to honor and pay tribute to their loved one.  All of our pricing is itemized - meaning the price you see for the casket or urn, for example, is for that particular item only.  Based on your selection, the total will be itemized on a "Statement of Goods and Services" for you to review and retain.

Cash Advances are third party expenses, NOT the funeral home's charges.  These items are usually placed on the final funeral account for the convenience of the family.

• Reception Catering
