Shirley Mary (Ambrose) Homer

Shirley M. Homer (nee Ambrose) of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7th, 2020.  She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Homer; loving mother to Barbara von Mehren (George) and the late David Richard Homer; dearest grandmother of Richard (Katrina), Cory (Leah), and Amanda (John), great-grandmother to Alexis, Brayden, Olivia, & Victoria; dearest sister of Donald Ambrose and the late John Ambrose & Beverly Galmarini.  A very special thank you is extended to her niece, Cheryl Cowan, who became her dear companion and end of life caregiver.

Shirley had many passions including the study of Astrology, crafting and crocheting.  She was also an ordained minister, a Reiki Master, and a member of the Church of the Radiant Lights.   

Per Shirley’s request, a private family service will be held at a later date.  The family requests that you remember her in your thoughts and prayers, and should you wish to further honor her life and memory please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice.
