Patricia Ann Neville

PATRICIA ANN NEVILLE (nee Sykora), Age 77 of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2023. Beloved wife of John A. Neville and dear mother of Jeffrey (Courtney), Todd (Nancy), Scott (Melisa), and Carrie (Dave). Devoted grandmother of Meghan, Alex, Avery, Adam, Olivia, Emily, Matt, and Ben. She was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, and was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Helen Sykora. She is survived by her sisters, Jane O'Brien, and Janet Carlson, and brother Robert Sykora.

A proud graduate of Bowling Green State University, Pat became an English and Journalism teacher for Cleveland Heights High School from 1967 to 1970. As a parent, she was an active volunteer in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights schools for many years. She served as the President of the middle school PTA, Co-Chair of the After Prom Committee, and supported each of her children in their sports and academic activities. She also worked as a volunteer aide for special needs elementary students in the Ravenna schools. She loved reading, baking, traveling the country, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Private service and burial at Brecksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Wreaths Across America, benefiting Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
