Joseph Pajestka

Joseph Pajestka, age 98 passed away Monday, October 12, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Vivian J. (nee Brazda); loving father of Linda Moran, Pamela Ambrose (Jim), David (Laura) and Joseph (Renee); cherished grandfather of 10; dearest great grandfather of 8; preceded in death by 5 siblings. Joseph was a WWII Navy Veteran receiving the Presidential Unit Citation while serving in the Pacific on the USS Belleau Wood aircraft carrier.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD. BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9-10 am. Joseph's Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH. Masks are required at the funeral home and church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Joseph's name to your favorite charity.
