Eileen V. Nestor (nee Hamill), of Cleveland Ohio, passed away at the age of 91 on 9/13/22. Born in Detroit, MI, a graduate of Marygrove College in Detroit, she was a community theatre actress, commercial model (magazine and newspaper), mother of six children and many beloved cats over the years. Later she taught at Barbizon Modeling for 15 years until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid golfer. She loved a challenging crossword, painting, and creating stained glass for her family. In her retirement, she spent countless hours knitting hats and blankets for various charities. All of us will miss her humor, her baking skills, especially her Irish soda bread, her wicked game of ping-pong, and her talent for interior design. Dear wife of Jim Nestor (deceased); loving mother of Michael (Dianne) Nestor, Barry Nestor, Therese (Dave) Dippo, Brian Nestor, Angela Nestor, Cristin Lonsway; beloved grandmother 'Jo' of Sean, Ian, Caitlin, Jacob, Kayla, Zachary, and Jacqueline. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Anne Hamill, sister Sheila Sullivan, and brother Brian Hamill. Survived by her beloved brother Desmond Hamill. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
