Jadwiga Jennie Wojniak, (nee Pogroszewski) age 93 passed away at home Sunday, December 23, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Wojniak, Sr.; loving mother of Dr. Ed J. (Jan), Barbara Jefferis (Alan, deceased), Michael A., and Elizabeth Luther (Jeff); devoted grandmother of 9 and Great grandmother of 9. Mrs. Wojniak received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland College (now Case Western Reserve University) and a Master's degree in Education from Cleveland State University and was a teacher within the Garfield Hts. School District for 27 years, earning the Martha Holden Jennings award for excellence in teaching. Upon retirement, Mrs. Wojniak continued her interest in education by attending Cleveland State University's "Project 60", auditing classes for 15 years and traveling extensively, visiting 22 United States and 24 countries throughout the world. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Polish-American Cultural Center 6501 Lansing Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44105.
